Weekend in San Marcus

This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit my friend at Texas State University, and dang was it a weekend I will always remember. It was my friend Carley’s birthday weekend and all she wanted was to go to San Marcus. I had told my friend Paige who attends Texas State that we were coming down and she planned out a whole weekend of fun.

            Friday when we got there we got our bathing suites on and went to these apartment complexes called the Capstone Cottages. Man, was the pool packed I had never seen so many people at an apartments pool before. We were walking around, meeting new people, dancing, overall having a really good time. I have always seen people post about these apartments and the pool parties and always wanted to go. Now I can say I have been and would love to go back.

            Saturday Carley and I went to breakfast while Paige went to work. After Breakfast, we went and hung out with a couple of Carley’s friend’s house that also lived in San Marcus. After hanging with the guys, I definitely needed a nap before we got ready for the night. We went back to Paige’s dorms and took a nap until she got back. Once we were done with our nap and got ready we went to one of Paige’s friends for his birthday party. Let me tell ya we were there from about 9:30pm-1:00am. Carley and I went outside and when we did I ran into some people that I knew. We decided to go back and hang with them. Paige and everyone we were with went off and did their own thing as well. All I can say is that this past weekend is definitely one that I will remember forever.
